Final meeting of the academic year - 23rd June 2009
What a first year! Building our vision.
The first year of the Winchester E-Network has brought together a fabulous mix of arts, design and business students from all over the world - to network with local entrepreneurs, businesses, supporting agencies and academics. We have met at Winchester Business School, the Guildhall and Winchester School of Art to network and share views with an excellent array of speakers. We would like to celebrate the successes of our first year and share views of how we may plan and shape our second year. We will start this by taking a guided tour through Winchester School of Arts Degree Show, accompanied by the Head of Graphic Arts, Ed D'Souza and Head of Textiles, Fashion and Fibre, John Hopkins. Following our tour, we will then move onto Winchester Guildhall where Professor Neil Marriot, Dean of Winchester Business School will thank our E-Network speakers and reflect on our progress to date. Dr David Birks, Director of Enterprise at Winchester School of Art will outline ideas for the forthcoming year - then it will be over to us to do what we have excelled at through the year - sharing views and giving us ideas to shape an even stronger and vibrant Network. The evening starts at 5.30pm Lattes Cafeteria, Winchester School of Art, moving onto the Saxon Suite at Winchester Guildhall for 7.30pm
